If your hospital has the facility has the scope we are happy to discuss the possibility of performing the study at your facility. Endoscopy, rhinoscopy, cystoscopy and bronchoscopy in house!
Raquel Fuentes, DVM
Residency-Trained in Small Animal Internal Medicine
Dr. Raquel Fuentes is a native of Puerto Rico and is bilingual. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received her doctorate in veterinary medicine. After graduating she continued specialty training completing a rotating internship and internal medicine internship in private clinics in California. She proceeded to complete her internal medicine residency training hours in a private practice in Miami, FL. SHE HAS SUCCESSFULLY PASSSED HER BOARD EXAMINATIONS. She has worked in multiple highly regarded specialty hospitals. Dr. Fuentes enjoys all aspects of internal medicine. Her main areas of interest include autoimmune disease, chronic inflammatory diseases, endocrinology and minimally invasive diagnostics (ultrasound, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, etc).

Services provided include consultations, abdominal and thoracic ultrasound, ultrasound guided fine needle aspirates and biopsies, and recommendations following cytological findings. Dr. Fuentes is based in South Florida and is available to serve general practice, emergency animal hospitals and even specialty clinics that do not have internal medicine services available.

Dr. Fuentes is a member of then AVMA and SFVMA. Recently serving as the CE chair for the South Florida Veterinary Medical Association (SFVMA).
